Hounslow Borough Respiratory (HBRSG) is a non-profit organisation committed to providing peer support to residents diagnosed with respiratory and other long-term conditions. Our goal is to positively impact lives in Hounslow.

What will you be doing?

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated Volunteer Administration Officer to join HBRSG's team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisations day-to-day administrative functions, ensuring the smooth operation of programs and initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Volunteer Coordination: 
  • Recruit, train and manage volunteers in line with HBRSGs goals.
  • Coordinate volunteer schedules and activities, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
  • Administrative Support: 
  • Maintain accurate records of volunteers, activities and events.
  • Handle general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing and correspondence
  • Event Support: 
  • Assist in planning and executing charity events and programs.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue bookings, materials and participant communication.
  • Communication: 
  • Respond to inquiries from volunteers, donors and stakeholders promptly and professionally.
  • Support the development of communication materials and updates from various channels.
  • Collaboration: 
  • Work closely with team members to ensure efficient task coordination.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Engage with other local based organisations 

 

 

 

 

 

What are we looking for?

  • Essential. 
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software
  • Previous experience in volunteer coordination or administration
  • A commitment to HBRSGs mission and values
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety and Safeguarding for vulnerable people is desirable
  • Clean driving licence
  • Clean DBS check
