An enthusiastic person is required to join a dedicated team of volunteers who are restoring the Wilts & Berks canal for the benefit of the public, linking communities along its route, restoring wildlife habitats and beneficial environments.

What will you be doing?

The purpose of this role is to provide the leadership of HR, IT, Governance, H&S, Risk and Legal aspects of the Trust’s Executive Board,  the development of direction for these supporting functions as the Trust grows.  You will need to have

  • Strong leadership and understanding of the need for consistent management processes
  • Clear and concise communications skills
  • Good understanding of the charity sector and governance
  • Ability to manage diversity in teams and be able to liaise with many public and private stakeholder groups
  • Personal computing facilities including reliable internet access
