We are looking for a positive individual to provide us with ad hoc IT support, to aid us in delivering a consistent, secure and efficient service to our local community.
The IT support volunteer will provide technical assistance to With Music In Mind (WMIM)'s small team as needed, to ensure the smooth running of the organisation in relation to IT, helping to deliver a consistent, secure and efficient service.
The role is flexible, but volunteers may be involved in the following:
The role will be carried out either remotely or occasionally at our office base in Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan.
Knowledgeable and confident in using, maintaining and troubleshooting a range of IT systems and software (particularly Microsoft Office and Teams). Able to work well with the small team, supporting and advising appropriately on any improvements, including related to efficiency and security.
Although our primary aim is the delivery and development of our service, we are naturally reliant on technology to enable us to deliver this.

You will know that you are doing vital work by enabling us to focus on providing our activities and meeting the needs of individuals in our local community, improving their physical and mental health and well-being, helping us tackle social isolation and loneliness in older people in the Vale of Glamorgan.
