Visitors from Fifth Day

Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

Can you help us spread the word about our innovative charity fundraising service, Givto? We’re looking for actors / content creators who can produce short video ads to promote our volunteer-run service and help more charities in the UK and beyond.

What will you be doing?

Givto (www.givto.org) is a service run by the Better Giving Partnership - a registered charity run entirely by volunteers. We offer a unique service that enables members of the public to discover and donate to a different charity each month, hassle-free.

Givto is a bit like the charity token schemes you see in some supermarkets, but online. You sign up at givto.org, set up a direct debit with us, and each month we show you information about three great charities. All you do is click on the one you want your money to go to and we do the rest. We even claim the Gift Aid and pass this on to your chosen charity.

Having established our model with Yorkshire-based charities, we’re now a national service that’s growing and we need help to produce video ads that will attract more supporters from across the UK.

Your role will involve creating video content that sells the benefits of Givto to users (and charities). We're looking for actors / content creators who can take an idea or a basic script, or use their own initiative, to create video content we can put out on social media.

Our service is very small but we have big ambitions. We've already raised more than £50k for a range of charities of all sizes. Join our team and help us raise awareness of more amazing charities and much needed funds.

What are we looking for?

We'll need you to be comfortable in front of the camera and willing and able to produce content yourself. We can give you a brief, ideas and key messages. But then it's over to you.

We're looking for volunteers with experience of producing engaging content that we can use on social media to promote our service. So you'll need to be willing to take part, to be featured and to help promote our service.

We'd like you to be friendly, reliable, confident and able to join a call or two to discuss how we can work together.

What difference will you make?

Our service is very small but we have big ambitions.

We've already raised more than £50k for a range of charities of all sizes. Join our team and help us raise awareness of more amazing charities and much needed funds.

Your work will have a direct impact on the number of people giving money to charity, and discovering more about their work with Givto. And you'll help small and medium charities particularly who can struggle to get their voices heard and raise awareness of their work.

Before you apply

Get in touch and we'll take it from there. It would be great if we can see an example or two of content you've produced before (but it's not essential). We'll then arrange an informal chat with some of the best candidates so we can find out more about you and your work, and you can learn more about us.
