A great opportunity to join a growing organisation whose challenge is to restore the Wilts & Berks Canal from Semington to Abingdon. We are looking for someone to help in our small and friendly finance department.
Firstly we are looking for a volunteer who lives within 25 miles of the canal route, with proven experience in book-keeping and accounting preferably with an accounting qualifications such a AAT or above. Experience with a PC based accounting package, ideally Sage 50, bank reconciliations and appropriate IT skills.

The selected candidate for this voluntary role will have the following experience and skills:
They will be accountable to the Head of Accounts who will assist them in getting to know the role.
As we are a charitable Trust it is of great importance that we manage our funds diligently and we are looking for someone who would be interested in taking on this important role.
The volunteer will need effective and reliable home computing facilities including broadband internet access, email, word processing, spreadsheet and printer.
