You’ll work closely with our Founder and Grant Writer to align budgets with funding sources and operational needs. There is some flexibility in how you manage the financial systems, and we welcome input on improvements to enhance efficiency.

  • Reporting and Compliance
    • Knowledge of financial reporting standards and practices for CICs or nonprofits.
    • Understanding of compliance requirements, tax obligations, and financial regulations specific to CICs in the UK.
    • Ability to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

  • Adaptability and Proactivity
    • Proactive approach to managing finances, identifying potential issues, and recommending improvements.
    • Flexible and adaptable to changes in funding sources, organisational needs, or regulatory requirements.
