Accountant/Bookkeeper needed to help long established charity that provides hands-on training in kidney transplantation for surgeons, doctors and nurses in countries across the world
Transplant Links provides hands-on training in kidney transplantation for surgeons, doctors and nurses in countries across the world, to help patients with kidney failure have access to this life-saving treatement. Through this transfer of skills, TLC saves the lives of children and adults who suffer from life-threatening end-stage kidney disease, and many more who will benefit from the transfer of skills in the future. This training is delivered in the form of hands-on surgical and medical assistance (in situ), delivering lectures and training seminars in the hospitals, providing ongoing long-term support and assistance in developing the infrastructure needed to coordinate a transplant programme, long-distance online learning in the form of videos, presentations, podcasts and online seminars and the development of written materials. We work with partner centres over several years to support them to develop a sustainable ethical transplant programme.
