Want to know how to build a strong board and recruit trustees with the right mix of skills, experience and characteristics? As part of Trustees Week, Reach Volunteering is hosting two sessions on trustee recruitment in collaboration with national membership organisations, NCVO and SCVO.
‘Trustee Recruitment Cycle: Getting the right mix of trustees’ will be held with the SCVO on 1 November, 1.00 - 2.00pm. During this session, we will help you build the board that your charity needs including defining the mix of skills and attributes you want to recruit for, how to recruit trustees from diverse backgrounds, and tips on interviewing. To book a place, please visit the SCVO website.
The ‘Trustee Recruitment Cycle Workshop’ will be held on 2 November, 1.00 - 2.30pm in partnership with NCVO. This virtual, interactive session will explore how to apply best practice to trustee recruitment, drawing from Reach’s Trustee Recruitment Cycle and offering tips and advice. Girls Friendly Society will talk about their experience and there will be an opportunity to share and workshop experiences. To register your interest, please visit the NCVO website.
