Build the board that your charity needs with Reach Volunteering and the Small Charities Coalition

When building a strong board, finding the ideal people with the right mix of skills, experience and characteristics, and getting them onboard can be a challenge. Reach Volunteering and the Small Charities Coalition will be hosting an online event that will help you to build the board that your charity needs.

To help boards recruit more effectively and inclusively, Reach Volunteering launched the Trustee Recruitment Cycle and during this event, Janet Thorne (CEO of Reach Volunteering) will explore the six stages of the cycle.

The session will be held on Wednesday 1 December, 1.00 - 2.00pm and will include:

  • Defining the mix of skills and attributes you want to recruit for.
  • How to recruit trustees from diverse backgrounds.
  • Tips on interviewing.
  • An opportunity for Q&As.

The event is suitable for trustees, staff and volunteers of small charities. To book your place, please visit the Eventbrite website.
