For the seventh year running, Reach Volunteering is proud to be partnering with The Clothworkers’ Company, New Philanthropy Capital and Prospectus to host the Charity Governance Awards.
Celebrating outstanding governance and trusteeship in charities across the UK, the Charity Governance Awards will recognise success stories under the following four categories:
- Board equity, diversity and inclusion.
- Transforming with digital.
- COVID-19 response: Embracing opportunity and harnessing risk for long-term change.
- Improving impact in small charities.
The Charity Governance Awards are open to any charity registered in the UK and charities are encouraged to share their examples of best practice, inspirational trustees and brilliant boards.
Entries are free and can be submitted online. The deadline for submissions is 26 January 2022. Shortlisted charities will be announced in April and invited to a special awards ceremony in May, where the winners will be announced.
Winners will each receive a £5,000 unrestricted grant and runners-up will receive cash prizes of £1,000 each. Each shortlisted charity will also be offered a paid one-year membership to the Association of Chairs for its board as well as a complimentary place on a Cause4 Trustee Leadership Programme for a new trustee.
